I really like the shapes and curves in this picture, how the circular droplets of water make it seem like everything's suspended in animation. I get a hint of Michael Deforge doing Hokusai's waves, who are your inspirations?

I'd never heard of Michael Deforge until your comment but I have now. Good stuff.
My inspirations are mainly nature as I have always tried to just do my own thing when it comes to drawing and not look to others work... saying that I do like the work of Moebius, Jim Phillips, Rick Griffin etc...
